Cannot say enough about this company. When I called, I spoke with Lisa. She walked me through everything. I needed to do great professionalism. Care generally concerned about my situation then meeting John at the front desk and everyone else after that was just nothing but one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with dealing with mechanical issues… not only did they fix my car, it was done in a timely fashion like next day and it was the smoothest stress-free experience ever !! I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place ..thank you Capitol auto and diesel.. you guys rock !!

I canNOT say enough good things about Capitol Auto & Diesel. My wife and I are from out of the area on a RV trip when our truck started having a loss of power issue. I did a Google search for a shop and found Capitol and I made an easy online appointment for first thing in the morning. As it turns out I was a day early for my appointment but John and his guys took me in anyway when others would have turned me away until my appointment time. Within a few hours they had diagnosed and found the problem. Parts were ordered and the following afternoon we were back on the road. It’s been several days with several hundred miles with zero issues. I was very grateful to them for fixing my issue. I’ve had the issue pop up before and another shop from another state has seen it twice and had claimed to have “fixed” the issue. Turns out they had not only diagnosed it improperly but had charged me for parts I didn’t need. So, it such a welcomed relief to find a great shop. If I need more work done I will definitely drive 6 hours to have Capitol Auto & Diesel work on my truck. Thank you guys, you were a lifesaver.

There was oil in the retainer cup below the new oil filter. I didn’t know if it was leaking or never cleaned out after my oil change. I wiped it dry and drove 4 short drives around town. No leaks so far. Hopefully all good.

Capitol Automotive was extremely thorough and detail-oriented when working on my car. They kept me informed and communicated clearly throughout the entire process, which I really appreciated. They even went out of their way to pick up parts locally to get everything done quickly. Their pricing is also very reasonable, and they did a great job overall. I highly recommend them!
